Askir 30 Surgical Suction Unit
The New Askir 30 is a portable electric surgical suction unit suitable for nasal, oral and endotracheal aspiration of bodily fluids (mucus, catarrh or blood) from adults and children. Indicated for tracheotomized patients, minor surgical applications, and post-operative therapy in home care.
The highly heat-resistant, electrically insulated plastic material, ensures that the Askir 30 conforms to the latest European safety standards. The Askir 30’s lightweight and compact design makes it easy to transport the unit from one ward to another.
Other Features
The main unit is equipped with a vacuum meter (mmHg and kPa) and a vacuum regulator. The unit complies with EN 60601-1-11 “for use in the home healthcare environment” and carries IP21 degree of protection.
The Askir 30 is designed for non-continuous use “120 min. ON” / “60 min. OFF”, thanks to an electronic system for managing the electricity supply, whilst a series of LED’s on the front control panel signals whether the machine is operating
